TekSavvy on the move

March 5th, 2012. Chatham, Ontario.

TekSavvy Solutions Inc. (“TekSavvy”) has moved to a new 25,000-square-foot headquarters at 800 Richmond Street.

Chatham-Kent Mayor Randy Hope was on hand for today’s ribbon cutting. "The company is a great success story in Chatham-Kent,'' Mayor Hope said. "The key to this company is its employees - it's the workers that make it work.''

"It's a very exciting day for TekSavvy, coming in the midst of a very exciting period for our company,'' president Marc Gaudrault added, at the podium. He said the company has enjoyed remarkable growth since it was established in 1998 by he and his brother Rocky.

"We have seen more of that growth over the past year with the total number of homes served increasing by more than 50% to over 100,000 homes,'' he said.

Mr. Gaudrault explained that as the company expanded, it outgrew its former office facility. "The old office became a maze of patched-together offices and work areas which may have been fun to navigate, but which could no longer serve our needs,'' he said.

The new and expanded state-of-the-art headquarters will help make the company more efficient and better able to provide top-notch service to its customers. "It's a big space, one that will accommodate the sustained growth we are positioning ourselves to achieve over the coming years,'' he said. "We are here for the long haul and we are grateful for the support we have received.''
