Business as Usual says TekSavvy’s New Owner

OCtober 5th, 2012. Chatham, Ontario.

TekSavvy Solutions Inc, today announces that Marc Gaudrault will take over as owner and CEO following a year of acting CEO.

During the last year the company has seen 50% growth, with an increase from 120000 to 180000 subscribers.

With a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, a decade of hands-on network management experience, and a keen sense of the regulatory framework that governs the ISP business, he’s uniquely qualified to head up TekSavvy’s expert staff and to advocate on behalf of his customers.

“Rocky’s contributions have been immeasurable” says Marc Gaudrault, CEO of TekSavvy. “I will do my best to carry the torch on with the same pride, dedication and passion that Rocky did.”

“We’ve had a very good run to date,” says Marc.  “The fight against UBB, improved operations, a loyal customer base and a new brand helped us achieve the numbers we’ve seen over the past year. We have ambitious plans under way to continue the growth, and not lose sight of what has gotten us here.”

With Marc at the helm, TekSavvy will continue to fight for competition at the regulatory level to correct the capacity based billing model issued by the CRTC last spring and provide Canadian consumers with the high value services they have come to expect from TekSavvy.
